If I am upgrading from MC 4.0.5, do I need also to buy the THIRD PARTY software or will the THIRD PARTY STUFF from 4.0.5 work with MC5?

Peter, your existing third party bundle will work just fine with MC 5. No need to upgrade those unless you really feel you need to. Contact your Avid reseller or the 3rd party company directly for upgrade info and pricing.

However, If you upgeade to Win 7, I think Squeeze 5 will not work!

Better to talk from own experience and not from what you might have heard, Squeeze 5 works well with Vista SP3 ( AKA W 7 )

Johnny,

You can either upgrade the individual components or some of the components through the vendor directly or ou can buy a new Production Suite. The 3rd party app's have never been part of a downlaod or a protect upgrade.
