    Avid Composer 4 and Windows 7

    I've just upgraded my Academic Composer to v4  and I'm wondering if I can run this under Windows 7, or will I have to stick with XP until an Academic upgrade to v5 becomes available?

    It's not 'officially' supported, but many people have it working on their Win 7 machines (myself included). Only AMC 5 is Win 7 supported by Avid. If you don't have any pressing projects, give it a whirl, or wait for AMC 5.

    Also, do a search on WIN 7 within the forums; lotsa info by other users.
