It looks it's time to upgrade.
If only someone can reassure me that if a bad thing will happen with any activation/installation he will be here for me...
BLKDOG:How about monitoring 16 tracks of Audio RT? Sound good?
Uhm, that feature has been around for years. My XpressPro 4.x had it. New is the 16-track AUdio Mixer.
Should have more scoop for you next week on upgrades, 3rd party bundling etc..... working to get the documents completed and software downloads tested now so we are ready to go latr this month. With IBC, I wont have all the "i's" dotted for a few more days.
I'll post once I have all the scoop.
Note though that Snow Leopard wont be qualified when 4.0 ships.

Sorry, yes. That's what I should have said. Monitor 16 tracks in the Audio Mixer.
I see you corrected Terry over on the "L" too.

George....
You know I am here for you..... :) Deactivation/Activation and dongle updating is the same as it always has been but if you do need help.... only an email away.
Anything audio and watch me jump in ;-)
I never regret went to MC way. Never going to leave it Marianna.
And believe it or not one thing is people like you around.
And the fact that I have yet to see a crash. Very stable.
In the upgrade notes for Interplay, I read this:
Final Cut Pro (FCP) workflow support: Offers check-in and check-out of FCP media with project links as well as media and metadata conversion of FCP-to-Avid and Avid-to-FCP projects - providing customers with more platform flexibility.
Any chance will see anything like this in MC??? :)

Carl,
You have merged a thread for Mac with one for PC?
Yes he did and splitting it again is not that easy as the replies after yours are not all linked. I'll move this to the general discussions forum where we can all play in the same sandbox.
sverkalo:You have merged a thread for Mac with one for PC?
I sent you a PM 10 minutes ago. It was a mistake and I'm getting it fixed.
{edit} x-posted with Todd. Thanks Todd!

Marianna: Deactivation/Activation and dongle updating is the same as it always has been
Did you say dongle updating? Then am I understanding this correctly that if I want to keep my dongle (which I do), I won't be required to switch to software activation with v4.0 as was previously announced when 3.5 came out?
That would be awesome. I'm still very skeptical about software activation as I am constantly moving my dongle between my desktop and laptop.

Hi Evan,
Schiffty:Then am I understanding this correctly that if I want to keep my dongle (which I do), I won't be required to switch to software activation with v4.0 as was previously announced when 3.5 came out?
You're understanding it correctly. You can still use a dongle with 4.0.
good luck,Carl
