Has anyone real world experience with this.

as they are Xavc S files presumably difficult to edit with directly and can only be AMA with  nablet?

And does the linking back to hirez just work or not?

And how about unusual circumstances..spanned clips, chucked proxies etc

I researched this some time back, but didn't actually ever try the proxy workflow myself.

What I concluded was that the Nablet plugin was going to be the best bet. You can download a free, watermarked version to test it out.

I would recommend reading through the support document that Nablet supplies, which goes into details about the proxy files.
