Hi,
I found a strange issue in the 2024 version.
I imported/transcoded my sound files but my user setting was Alternating L/R. i changed it back to CENTERED and all of the sudden the audio quaility dropped. I sounded like the software changed the EQ and i lost the low freqs - basically the bass from the audio.
I deleted 2024 and went back to 2023.12.1 which solved the issue.
Did anyone else run into this issue?
Thanks,
Daniel

Sounds like a phase shift or phase inversion issue.
Yes, it does sound like cancellation was occuring once he went back to "mono" and the audio was summed. Low frequencies are more easily cancelled. What does listening to only a single channel sound like in mono? Then add the second channel and see what happens. Some Izotope plugins have phase inverter capability.
Hi Ajay,
Thanks for your reply. i email you directly.
Just a quick update on this.
I had the sound issue onl 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 Processor but dont seem to have the issue on Apple M1 Chip.
Currently i dont have any audio plug ins installed.
It sounded the same when i selected single channel if i remember correctly.
Currently i dont have izotope plugins.
The issue dont seem to occur on M1 Chip.
This hasnt surfaced Daniel.....
quick question....
When you went back to 2023.12.1 - did you use the same sound files that were L/R and change back to center in 2023.12.1?
