I just started back on a project that I began in December of 2022. I linked to the Sony H264 4k footage. I created proxy files of everything. Now in January 2024 the original files are offline and I can't link to them. The proxies are fine. Nothing I do will allow me to relink. Do I need a new plugin to link to them? I tried the Media Reactor lite and they're still offline and I can't relink.

Have an issue? Here's a tissue.
Glitch.....
What version of MC are you on and is it the same version from 2022 or have you upgraded?
Just trying to get a timeline of things here....
Not to imply you dont know but just to be sure - did you highlight all of the offline clips in the bin, right click and choose "relink", targetting the specific HDD where the media files are?
Also where they were brought in through the standard import process?
I woudl try and rebuild the media database files. Quit the MC application. Then, from each numerical folder inside the MXF folder inside the Avid MediaFiles folder, delete the two files that identify by type as "MSM Media Database" also identified as "msmFMID.pmr" and "msmMMOB.mdb" .
If you have an OMFI MediaFiles folder, delete the same two files. On re-launch, the system will detect the missing files and build new ones.
Report back.

I'm on 23.12
Waiting on the 24.2 beta
I have about 15 drives.
I did try to relink
Rebuild the database for all drives? These are linked files. If I try to link from the original cards I get the same Can't Link in the media browser.
Should I go to a earlier version of MC? I was testing 23.12 for it's reaction to Black Magic. That's fine for me.
