    Linking error

I'm having a probelm where Avid MC keeps linking to the version of my video files located on my Back-up drive instead of my actual video drive.

I'll leave a project with the original files and transcodes linking to my main raid video drive and when I re-open the app later all the media has been linked to the same files but on a differntly named slow back-up drive.

Any ideas on why this might be happening and how to stop it?

    Re: Linking error

    Hey there!

Are you able to eject the backup drive before launcing MC?

If not, you can try grabbing the files from your main RAID, holding Option whilst dragging and dropping them back into their bins. This should re-link the clips in the bin to the new location.

Let us know if this doesn't help and we can try somthing else :)
