I usually change values in the audio mixer by hovering the mouse over the fader and using [Shift]+[Mousewheel] to in-/decrease the volume in steps of 1 dB. Whereas without [Shift] the mousewheel only alters the value by +/- 0.1 dB.
In MC 2022.7 this still works. A while ago I updated to what then was the most recent version (probably 22.10 or 22.12) and realized that [Shift] was not recognized anymore. So with or without [Shift] it was +/- 0.1 dB only.
After going back to and still being on 2022.7: Could someone kindly confirm whether or not the original behavior has been reimplemented in newer versions, ideally in 2023.3.1? I am between projects and ready to update in order to (hopefully) benfit from some of the recent bug fixes.
Gracias! :)
Hi there,
I have tested this in our lab on windows... versions 2021, 2022, and 2023. Shift + scrolling the audio mixer increases the slider in 1dB increments.
I have attached a screen recording of my test to this thread response.
However on a mac system, It appears it only adjusts in +/- 0.1 dB.
I wonder why, and I shall seek to find out!

Hi Tobias
Philip asked that we get a case going so I have done so ( case # 04644252 ) and assigned it to him. He will do additional testing and get back to you on this.
Have a great weekend.
