Hi there,
I stumbled over a new bug in MC 2022.12.4 and it's quite easy to reproduce:
Add a new sequence to a bin and type something into the comments column. On hitting return, the text disappears. It is still saved, you can see it on "Get Info" or when opening the project in older MC versions.
It seems to only affect sequences. Is there a workaround to get it to show up or do we need to wait for a fix?
System specs are M1 Mac, Ventura 13.3.1, MC 2022.12.4.
Have a good one, y'all.
Having the same bug here... Hope someone have found a trick to solve it !
Any solutions to this issue?
Same problem here on an Intel Mac Pro 7,1 running Monterey and MC 22.12.4. No entries in neither standard nor costum columns possible. Burn in effect looses data from sequence bin columns in projects that worked perfectly on 2021.12.6.
Exact same problem here. The comments show in Script View, but not in Text View.
I'm on Avid 2021.12.9, Mac Studio M2, Ventura 13.3.

I am dealing with the same issue and it's quite frustrating, especially since it affects the sequences.
Hi,
Same issue, also this is happening in any new custom columns made, not just comments. Help!
System specs are M1 Max, Monterey 12.6.8, MC 2022.12.4.
Thanks!
That's a known issue on 2022.12.4 on Mac, unfortunately. Rolling back to 2022.12.3 solves it.

On an Intel Mac Pro 7,1 running Monterey and MC 2022.12.4, I'm having the same issue. No entries are allowed in the custom or standard columns. Specifically because it impacts the sequences. I'm using Ventura 13.3, Mac Studio M2, and MC 2021.12.9.
This is the exact same issue. In Script View, the comments appear; in Text View, they do not. A piece of the original media that was edited into the timeline after the clip's conclusion was played using the AudioSuite tool's Preview feature. I'm using Mac Studio M2, Ventura 13.3, and Avid 2021.12.9.
