    perpetual license not working?

    Hmm somehow my license is not working anymore. I didn't renew last year Dec 2021 or move over to the subsciption model. So today I tried to log in MC to finish up a product and its not allowing me. Any quickfix here? When I long into my account on avid.com its saying no license is not found. When in avid link, I click on media composer and go into license and choose "only display available license" nothing shows.  This may be do to some sort of auto renewal that has caused issues but I didn't have the set on my acct. This is crazy, if I have a perpetual license why isn't it showing?

    Hey is there anyway to connect me to someone U.S. based or close to California time zone. I was up to 2am my time but the customer rep wasn't available for the remote session. By the time I woke up he had emailed saying he was leaving shortly and to contact him for the remote session. I did email him back but not sure if he is still there. It is currently 8:45am pacific time. Or if you can give me some advice on what to do it would be greatly appericated. I have to start from scratch in resolve to try and finish this edit ugh.

    What did they do? Ralph? I have noticed that on the splash screen of my perpetual dongle, it will say so many days left and in September, just before I renewed those days remaining turned red. It's a bit alarming that if you do drop support, which will stop anyway in a couple of years, that you potentially may be in a catch 22 of not being able to contact support, in order to continue using your perpetual licence, that is promised to run 'forever'. This splash screen thing looks to me like an unecessary nag that shouldn't be there for perpetual.

    I see the same thing every time I start my dongle based system.  This is at best confusing, at worst - well let's just say less than honest.  I am hoping it is just some careless UI design.  But come on Avid!
