Anyone know if Pro Tools Carbon interface is compatible with Media Composer?

I'm afraid it is not. 

Media Composer can't record 8 channels of audio punch in at the same time. What's your workflow?

Currently using a Prism ADA8XR audio interface with Media Composer, via Kona5--been a nice solution. Recently purchased Pro Tools Carbon, hoping it'd be an audio upgrade with MC. Carbon is stellar with Pro Tools!

Huh? Why not? It sure can capture 8 channels of audio.

Really?  Through what interface?

The carbon isn't supported... AFAIK.

The Carbon works by sending Audio over IP (AVB). Media Composer doesn't yet support AVB, AFAIK. Maybe in the future when AVB support is added to Media Composer the Carbon could be used with Media Composer.
