Hi all,
I've loaded a sequence into the source monitor and have been adding markers/timeline clip notes. I was hoping to be able to search through them in the source monitor if need be.
If I use quick find and hit enter, the playhead goes to the relevant clip. If I click the buttons to the right of the quick find search box - find next to the right, find next to the left, it works.
The issue is that I have Quick Find Next and Quick Find Prev mapped to my keyboard and those keys don't work on the timeline when it's loaded into the source monitor, but they do work as expected when the same timeline is loaded into the record monitor.
First world edit problems, I know... but would be nice if the keyboard shortcuts worked for this!
Cheers!
Hi,
Your signature tells me that you're running Avid 2022.7 - Is that right?
I would try to reset my Avid user profile before doing any other troubleshooting.
Hi Philip,
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
That's correct, I'm using 2022.7.
Tried it with a brand new User profile and the issue still persists.
Strangely, the keyboard shortcuts for Quick Find Next/Previous still work on the sequence loaded into the source monitor even if a blank sequence is loaded into the record monitor.
It's just when the record monitor is empty the keyboard shortcuts don't work.
