    reverse motion filter

Hi, I have a matte effect doing a reveal on a clip that I want to use the reverse motion filter on. Is it not possible to add a reverse filter on a matte? I was for sure I had did this before. I did manage to add the actual timewarp effect on it but it would have been easier to just add the reverse filter so I wouldn't have to manual make the adjustment. I am working on 2021.9. On a side note, I am having some strange behavior with MC but I will make a seperate post on that.

    Re: reverse motion filter

I'm assuming when you say 'reverse motion filter' you mean creating a motion clip at -100%.

So you've added a Matte effect to a clip and now can't add a motion effect?

What happens if you step into this clip so that you're below the matte effect.

You should be able to create your -100% effect now.

Personally, I use Timewarp pretty much all of the time now as I find it quicker and more flexible.
