Hi,
I've got a problem with electronic activation on media composer.
Since this morning, the licence appears to be activated in avid link but it doesn't want to launch the software.
I have tried to deactivate the licence but it doesn't works to, it also fail when I try to activate the trial mode.
There is maybe something broken whith the licence tool but I can't do anything else..
Someone can help me ?

I had a response to my problem from the techical support, and it fixs well the error :
Stop on Task Manager • Avid Link.exe • AvidAppManHelper.exe . Delete the following folders: • C:\ProgramData\Avid\Avid Link\Cache • C:\ProgramData\Avid\Avid Link\Db • C:\ProgramData\Avid\Licenses • C:\ProgramData\Avid\SWL • C:\ProgramData\Avid\Common

Interesting. Same(?) thing here. License displayed as 'active' (20 days reamaining) in avid account but Avid Link calls it inactive and obviously unusable. It had not been used on other computers nor had I deactivated it for any other reasons.
Facing an imminent client approval, I had to quickly buy a new license, that otherwise I would not have bought before next month.

I need help with this too. My laptop's logic board was just repaired and I restored from TimeMachine backup. Upon launching MC it said the application was damaged and to move to trash. I tried uninstalling but it said there was nothing to uninstall, so I trashed the damaged MC and installed the latest MC download from My Avid Account. Installation was successful but when I try to launch MC it says "License renewal not successful. The activation server could not be reached."
I really need to work today asap. Thanks!
