Has anyone tried to expand an existing Avid Nexis environment with data in-place?

I've been reading some of their docs and promotional material; it talks about being able to do this, but doesn't seem to go into much detail about the process itself or potential risk factors. I've been comparing clustering solutions, the Avid docs are very verbose, but I haven't been able to find a clear answer.

Appvalley Specifically I'm curious if data that existed prior to adding a new Engine / Media Pack is available in the same namespace. https://vlc.onl/

Are there configurable options for using the new system for capacity / redundancy?  Tweakbox

I have done both Add and Remove redistributions and never had an issue. NEXIS isn't a pooling type storage, there are no hot spots when storage is added.

The media on a specific workspace remains on that workspace. In an add redistribution example, the workspace can now be resized to be larger and the overall bandwidth is increased because of the additional Media Pack.
