Add - Could you possibly post a sample image that we could try?

The images I'm using are copyrighted by the artist. But I'll try to find an example image without restrictions.

Super! If you do, I'll give it a try with the most recent Media Composer and see if I can reproduce the issue you are seeing with a linked image w/alpha and zooming-in with the matte key controls.

Sorry this took a while - work got busy.

I created a page of black text on transparency (PNG image 3508x4960 pixels which should be attached).

On MC 2018, I tried both importing and AMA linking this file then inserting into a sequence within a 1080P project. Both times, when I zoom in to 300% it looks pixellated.

Would be interested to know if you get the same thing.

If you've got Sapphire or BCC their Pan&Zoom effects will work.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't have either of those and they are an expensive way of obtaining a basic effect.

I personally feel proper handing of images with alpha channels is a feature that MC should include as standard.
