Hi,So I've been running a 3 screen setup for several years (3rd being a TV for fullscreen playbacks) now I upgraded to a wide 21:9 screen to replace my two 27" monitors. Only to find that Avid will not let me choose the screen I use anymore.
Is there anyway to allocate the program to just use the single larger monitor and reserve the tv for fullscreen playbacks, I gotta be honest I was pretty bumed on discovering this, hoping there's a fix somewhere, or this was a costly experiment to upgrade my setup and find it doesn't work, and seems like something that should be fixed as I know several colleagues planning simmilar upgrades to a single wide monitor and 2nd for fullscreen output.
You have looked at the Host panels ticks in the windows menu list?
If you can't deselect the monitor you need to you may have to go to the windows monitor setup in the OS and change the 1 & 2 positions so the other one is the primary.

Hey Pat,I was trying that. I seem to have resolved for the moment. Last night in a panic to get job done I unplugged the now 2nd screen and forced Avid to only occupy one screen. Since then the settings have kept when i rebooted with both screens today.Very odd feeling going from 3 down to this setup, but the layout avid got stuck in was unworkable at that point. Thanks for the swift reply.

I am having the same issue. My setup was ok for about a week before it starting messing up again. I hope this can be figured out because it is frustrating.
I was wondering if your setup is still working properly? Everytime I relauch MC, it goes back to displaying on the 2nd screen. This is getting very frustrating. No one else is dealing with this issue?
Yeh mine does exactly this, it constantly forgets that I've told it not to use screen 2. This is a very very annoy flaw
