Update:

Once I disabled GPU effects (under render settings) the issue no longer occurs.  

Hello all. 

I am having an issue that I can't figure out for the life of me 

When i apply a effect using Frame flex I get a green screen in my composer window and client monitor. AMC will crash on occasion as well. 

The only workaround I have found was to disconnect my BM ultrastudio monitor.

I can't figure out what I am doing wrong and any assistance will be much appreciated

Not heard of anyone with this issue which suggests it's specific to your setup.

When did this start happening? Has it ever worked? 

You've tried new user setting and a new project?

I'd then be looking at uninstalling the BM software.

Uni stalling the MC software. 

Reinstall the MC software then reinstall the BM software.

To add to pats questions, its like shooting in the dark when you provide NO system specs.  What version of MC?  What exactly OS are you on?  What BM driver?

Etc. 

Also if you have a support plan, its a good idea to create a case on the support protal which can be accessed thru your MyAvid master account.

I am on 2020.9

I have installed the blackmagic driver 11.7.0 for the ultrastudio mini monitor

I'm running windows 10pro 24gig Ram, Quadro K1100M GFX, Nvidia 426.78 driver

HP Zbook quad core 2.50ghz.  

I believe my machine is qualified for 2020.9

Coming to this discussion a little late but I see from the readme notes for 2020.9 that the recommended Nvidia driver is v442.50

My gfx card isn't supported by that driver according to Nvidia
