I have noticed an issue, just picked up someone else's project and I made new user settings. When I go to the bin in Avid Media Composer, and type into the search bin field for example 22.11.2016 it filters and shows me the results.

Then I csn tyoe into the search 26.11.2016 then it says Avid Media Compsoer has crashed. It seems random when it decides to crash. I get a report box to submit to Avid the crash log

Could the project I've been given be corrupted somehow?
