Nature of looking at a new version (nice job with 2018.12 so far) is that the wish list gets refreshed...
In ProTools the waveforms redraw as clip gain is adjusted to reflect change in level. Very good for quick balancing. Be useful if this could come to Media Composer.
Ideally I'd like a master waveform to reflect the output level (after all mixing & plug-ins). Obviously you mix using your ears but it would be a great way to identify problem areas. Also to quickly see that output routing is correct for stems etc.
NB in 2018.12 (not sure of previous versions) waveforms do not appear to work for grouped clips (i.e. match back and replace with source clip shows waveform)

Here we are in 2023 and I can't stress enough how important that feature would be!!
I hope for this!
PT only does that when you add clip level and/or render destructive clip effects. It won't take any inserts, volume automation, buses or masters into account. Just sayin'.
