I get this now and again when doing intensive tasks like an UHD fluid motion render on a clip with a LUT on it? No ill effects and only lasts a second or two but wonder what causes it?
I have a middling K2000 Quadro GFX card, but always thought that yiou didnt really need a 3D CAD style super expensive GFX card with 2D video Avid?
Cheers

I always use a Quadro with MC.
Are you on the correct driver for the version you are running.
Never had this.
I would suspect and try without the BM too.

i have used 1080ti and 1050ti extensively with media composer and never see what youre talking about.
I always use the latest version of nvidia drivers too.
also i always use the current version of media composer... could be a bug with your version.
