Hi,today I switched from MC 2018.8 to MC 2018.10. Everything worked fine until I tried to export the final sequence to a qicktime reference. MC finished with an exeption. It is a UHD project 25p, video and audio are mixdowns. I tried it with other files and other project settings (1080 25i). Same result. I closed MC and rebooted the system. Same result.
So I switched back to MC 2018.8. Now the export works fine with the same sequence. This seems to be a bug. Does anyone have the same problem? In the near future I will stay on MC 2018.8.Best regardsKl

Hi,
this is the error message I received:
I'm seeing the same exception error message when trying to export a QT Ref. and I filled out the message panel and sent it to Avid.
I can export a QT Ref for Squeeze without any issues when I select Sorenson Squeeze from the export options.
Gerry
I have the same experience with 2018.10.
Yes - this is a bug. Switch your audio output to WAVE format in the QT Ref settings. Very odd that this got past SQA but at least there is a workaround.

Thanks for the workaround Steve. Really wierd that something like this could slip through testing.
I'm experiencing the same problem. I get an "Alert" that says: "Segmentation fault" in thread "MainThread", at address 0x0
Then MC crashes. It creates a .mov file that is not supported in Squeeze.
And yes, as suggested elsewhere changing the audio output to Wave did the trick. The .mov file then imported into Squeeze.
