    Avid ISIS/Nexis 1000 v7.3

    Hi there

     

    Is there are way to hook this up with a UPS so if the power goes off there is an elegant shutdown...

    There never was with Unity.  I'd bet it's the same with ISIS/NEXIS.  It's because it's a two-step process, stopping the service, then shutting down the server.

    We hade it working with ISIS!

     

     

    But now with Nexis its not (yet) possible.... Hope BobRusso's info is correct here:

    Currently there isn't a method to automatically shut down the NEXIS with a UPS. ISIS used Windows and it was only a matter of sending a shutdown to Windows for ISIS to gracefully power off.
