Glad to see the marker export has been improved.

What our clients really want to do is to be able to watch a sequence of all their rushes. A simple way of doing this would be to throw all the rushes onto a sequence and check that in. They can then watch a camera card from start to finish without stopping.

The biggest and fatal problem with this is that there isn't a 'Source Timecode' option in the playback window. The only other option is to flatten a TC generator onto the media from Avid - This would take days if not weeks to do though.

Can I ask having a 'Source Timecode' view added to the playback window in the UX so when you are playing a sequence you can view the 'Source Timecode' of each clip it is currently playing. This feature is in Avid MC.

Also the client asked it would be nice if you can just type away when watching media in the UX it automatically creates a marker when you start typing and continues playing whilst you type in your notes. 

From what I gather 'Forscene' has this feature. I've been asked multiple times if the UX has this feature.

3 - A keywords system.

A keywords system for logging Interplay | Production and Interplay | MAM assets will be made available as an option with MediaCentral v2.7. The design of the keywords system is based on user input collected from users of this community and loggers I talked to while visiting customers in the U.S. and Europe.

The keyword based logging system is being demoed at NAB 2016. So if you are at Las Vegas you may want to take a look on how it works.

Here some of the key features:
- Based on the MediaCentral Platform so that you can access it from everywhere
- You can customize your logging UI using a WYSIWYG generator so that you can create the perfect logging UI for this sport / show 
- You can use more than one logging UI per asset so that you can switch context. Example: you are logging a sports event and use one logging UI for logging the game and another for logging interviews
- You can create predefined keyword lists from a database or from a simple txt file
- You can assign up to 22 keyboard shortcuts to buttons so that you can log faster
- You can find the logs in a super fast search so that the logs become instantly available to people who want to create highlights 
- You can find the logs in that search (not the parent asset) so that you do not have to do unneccessary clicks
- You can persist metadata (like weather = sunny, score = 0:1) so that you do not have to reenter the same over and over again 
- And for the Admins: the logger has an API so that you can automate the creation of logging presets

Now that 1, 2 and 3 are done I would like to get your feedback on number 4. Is this what you want?
How to demo: 

1. Select more than one asset in the Search Pane or Assets Pane
2. Go to (Context Menu | Pane Menu) > Batch Edit Metadata
3. Metadata Pane shows checkboxes before each Metadata field so that user can decide if it shall be overwritten
4. Enable the checkbox so that you can change the value
5. Change the metadata to the new value
6. Click OK
7. Confirmation dialog appears. Focus is set on the OK button so that you can hit Enter on the keyboard to confirm
8. Confirm
9. Entered metadata is applied to all selected assets 

Another big function currently missing (as of 2.6.1) is correct playback of audio in groups made from subclips.

On 4: we have released batch metadata editing for Interplay MAM assets with MediaCentral v2.10. It is not supported for Interplay PAM assets yet, but I will keep you posted.
