Hey I have a project where I want to add some sharpning to the videos. Ive done some CC work so instead of having to step in to apply a sharpning filter to each individual clip, should I mixdown then add the sharpen filter? Would this affect quality? Should I sharpen mixdown then do the CC work? In what way would some of you handle this?

My opinion is that you should add the sharpen filter on top of the color correction for each clip.  One size may not fit all.  Some shots may need more, some less.

Sharpen filters can quickly make an image worse than it started.  No real way to avoid a shot by shot pass.
