Enable Dynamic Relink setting not activating

I am using Media Composer 7 Interplay edition yet it is not allowing me to "Enable Dynamic Relink" in settings. I click but it does not select. Why would this be happening?

Can you elaborate on your configuration?

PC I assume? What version of Interplay client bits you are using? Your Interplay core version?

Have you tried reinstalling both MC and client bits?
