Hi Murray, only the Media Composer version has been updated, not NEXIS server nor clientes.

Please upgrade to MC 2018.3 and see how this goes.

I know that seemed like a stupid question but now I know to go back to Steve at AJA and say - it doesnt always work.

We also have this issue with MC 2018.12.3, HP z840, AJA Kona 12.3 (i know its an old driver but all other drivers cause more harm then they are worth!)

The more time goes by, the more I'm tempted to believe that in some update of MC, probably many versions ago, something was changed in MC's open I/O and until now nobody has found what actually. Aja has shown to be the affected the most, but it also happens with blackmagic I/O. I don't know.

I'm inclined to agree, 

Certainly since moving from 8.9 i've noticed once in a blue moon I/O issues arise varying from guide VO coming through 'Roboticised' to after a few seconds of play the picture on the broadcast monitor begins to stutter.

AJA releases 13, 14 and 15 create further issues so once in a while most suites require a reinstall of the driver.

I haven't tried 15.2 admittedly of the AJA driver but 15.1 resulted in me completely rebuilding the computer.

Happened to me recently with MC 2018.4. MCState deletion didn't solve the issue, but uninstall and reinstall worked for me.
