First post and very new to Avid, but loving it so far.
I rendered out a MXF DNxHD (175 I think) from a coloring session in Divinci Resolve yesterday. Here's where I think I screwed up...I put the MXF in my external hard drive folder for Avid Media Files/mxf/1.
I tried first to see if "media tools" would recognize this mxf and I could bring the clip into the project, but it didn't show up.
Here's the error message: "Exception: Sequence refers to non-existent track in clip. Please turn off monitoring and re-edit references to the following clip. You may then re-enable monitoring. , clip: "clipname", missingTrack:V2
I tried simply taking the clip out of the MXF folder to start over, but AVID is now stopping any progress with the above error message. I did re-index the avid media files, but I have a feeling Avid made a copy of it somewhere and it lives somewhere on the drive.
I have no idea how to "re-edit references" to the clip I rendered out of Resolve and the session in resolve only had one video track, so that's pretty strange as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need to deliver this project by friday and work has come to an immediate stop.
Thanks
Hi MCA,
did you get any reply to that? It keeps happening to me all the time. Thanks, Anita
