Exception: Sequence refers to non-existent track in clip

First post and very new to Avid, but loving it so far.

I rendered out a MXF DNxHD (175 I think) from a coloring session in Divinci Resolve yesterday.   Here's where I think I screwed up...I put the MXF in my external hard drive folder for Avid Media Files/mxf/1.

I tried first to see if "media tools" would recognize this mxf and I could bring the clip into the project, but it didn't show up.

Here's the error message:  "Exception: Sequence refers to non-existent track in clip. Please turn off monitoring and re-edit references to the following clip. You may then re-enable monitoring.
    , clip: "clipname", missingTrack:V2

I tried simply taking the clip out of the MXF folder to start over, but AVID is now stopping any progress with the above error message.  I did re-index the avid media files, but I have a feeling Avid made a copy of it somewhere and it lives somewhere on the drive.

I have no idea how to "re-edit references" to the clip I rendered out of Resolve and the session in resolve only had one video track, so that's pretty strange as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I need to deliver this project by friday and work has come to an immediate stop.

    Thanks
