Hi.
I was hoping someone might have some insight in to why my Avid is not seeing the workspaces and connecting to them on the Lanshare. We have 3 Avids connected to the Lanshare. One Avid is connected to the Lanshare with one Fibre card, and it is connected to an SNS EVO system via another fibre card. It has been working fine, but we recently updated the SANmp software for the EVO connection, and after that upgrade I have not been able to connect to the Lanshare.
Disk Utility sees the Avid drives connected via fibre. Fibre Manager sees all of the workspaces on the Lanshare. When I try to mount a workspace, it tells me that one or more workspaces has failed to mount. Please check your username and password. But when I first open Fibre Manager, it does not give me any errors in "red" when I log in with the username and password. When I log in to the Administration Tool, in the log window I get 30 x error message "date time Invalid parameter. Followed by in "black" the "date time Drive set contains "20" workspaces....Drive set is online....File Manager has found metadata for drive set "Partition0"...etc. However, when I go to my workspace management, I do not see any of the workspaces.
I tried uninstalling/re-installing the Avid Unity Media Network Client Fibre software, but I am getting the same result. The one thing that I am seeing that is different with my non-connecting Avid versus the Avid's that connect is that in the Administration Tool when I log on, it is NOT seeing the metadata for drive set "Data Drive Set." It is instead reading metadata for drive set "Partition0."
The question is how to get the Avid Administration tool to read the metadata for :Data Drive Set"?Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
Scott.
