• High Frame Rate Footage Problems!

I've been working on a project for a few weeks on Avid MC 2018.4, on Mac. My project is set up as 25fps, however most of the footage I'm using was shot at 50fps on a Sony A7R. The intention of the footage was to be used as slow motion in 25fps sequences. I transcoded the 50fps footage to DNxHD36...

  • Transcoding Frame rates at 119 rather than rendering them.

Hello everyone, Have some footage that is shot in a frame rate taht avid doesn't not provide as a default. Besides ama and slowing them down then rendering. Is there a way to just transcode the clips and then bringing the bin over to a lower frame rate to slow down the clips. Thanks in advance.

I have strung out the dailies and want a way to globaly remap the time to something close to a normal non-slow motion playback without trimming the durration of each shot manually. I need...

  • Iphone 120fps footage into MC7...

Hi all, I'm struggling to import, for frame-for-frame playback/cutting in a 30fps project, some 120fps footage shot on an iphone 5S and wondered whether anyone had had any luck finding a workflow for this...? I'm sure some clever boffin has come up with some third party software to make this...

  • c300 slomos workflow

Hi! I am importing c300 clips via AMA and then transcoding them to DNxHD185x. Now, I have footage in multiple framerates: 25p, 30p and 50p. The project is in 25p, and the 30p and 50p are ment to be slowed down to 25p to get the slow-motion. When I drag - for example - the 50p into the timeline, it automatically...

  • Re: Ignore QT rate not creating slow motion
And the console command is " ignoreqtrate true " you will see it being confirmed in that console window after having pressed return
Yes, it is confirmed in the console, but does not seem to work when importing.
So, a...

  • Converting C300 50fps

Hi I've looked at other posts and haven't quite got the answer I'm looking for. We've just shot about half our footage (about 130 clips) at 720/50p to get a slomo look. When I AMA the footage I can isolate which footage needs converting to 25p to play in slomo, from the video column....
