Hello All, I use frameflex for keyframed photo moves and keyframed artificial camera moves. The photos are brought into a UHD project as UHD DXHR HQX media. After import, I switch to 1080P and use Frameflex to scale photos down to as much a 50 (200%) without any softness or quality loss. Additionally...

I'm going into the same situation/trouble... Main project will be 1080p/25, some footage and graphic animations will be UHD. I need to "navigate" into UHD materials, so FrameFlex is absolutely useless, cause I need to do some fake camera movement on X, Y, and rotation on Y, X axis, all...

Since David Colantuoni has announced that Avid are holding off releasing the shiny new MC version, here’s something that needs to be fixed. Frameflex is good a dealing with horizontal images (video or graphics) but often fails with vertical images. I have vertical pictures from at least four digital...

I want to share with everybody something that I just discovered. Call it a bug or call it a feature that doesn't perform as expected. Basically, in a short sequence where a lot of the clips have FrameFlex applied to them, Media Composer takes a serious performance hit. I have a 9-minute sequence...

I don't understand why this is missing from clip source settings and I have to use custom and type it out every time! Is it a bug or feature omision? Options include 2.33, 2.35, 2.37, and 2.4, but no 2.39 which is DCI standard. What's weirder - it IS available in FrameFlex from the timeline....

We often work with larger raster size media than needed for mastering, using proxy media for offline and then conforming to camera originals to master at HD or 2K. Am I right in thinking there's no difference between using FramFlex or Resize, since both of them will be rendered from the larger raster...

Thanks! Our scope is shot as 3200 x 1800 on Amira, using 2.39:1 frame guides. Mask Margins as you describe works in an HD project fine, but not when I change the project format to DCI 2K Scope to conform the edit. Then I need to use Frameflex to set the frame aspect ratio to 2.39:1, giving me a centre...

Hi We've just discovered that Frameflex is broken in MC 18.4. There's a thread on the PC side about it here: http://community.avid.com/forums/t/184548.aspx It's criticial to our workflows next term, working with 2.39:1 and 1.85:1 material from Amiras, and if we have to update all 45 clients...

Hi all, Working on a feature that is shooting 2.8k anamorphic on Arri Alexa but wants to master in 2.39. DIT is doing DNxHD 36 transcodes in sliverstack for us in editorial. We've already determined that its not the best workflow for DIT to transcode to 2.39 (issues with Arri metadata, too late to...
