Although "my" daily machine is indeed a Hackintosh, we have several other AVID systems in the building, two of which are late 2013 iMac 27" with the upgraded nVidia 780M internal graphics card. I realize I'm SOL with the hackintosh, but: The iMac with High Sierra 10.13.6 (latest) is having problems with AVID, the iMac with 10.13.1

UPDATE: I also have an identical iMac but with Mac OS 10.13.1 w/ the 378.10.10.20.109 Nvidia drivers and that works as it should...so... is it an nvidia problem? is it a mac securtiy update problem? Hmmm...

BUMP I've got a system in my shop that's an IMac (27-inch, Late 2013) with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M and the latest nvidia drivers are not working properly. I've scoured the compatibility matrix, and there's NOTHING that corresponds to mac OS. Marianna?

It's an nvidia driver issue, I disabled nvidia web drivers and it worked... hmmmm.

Guess I'll add some system details: This is a hackintosh, with an Intel i9 9900k processor, running High Sierra 10.13.6, 64GB RAM, nvidia K5000 grfx + current/correct drivers with cuda. Blackmagic 4k card (latest drivers). This is not my 1st hack system -- I've been using MC 2018.12 on one for awhile now. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling

This is a new one on me. Fresh install, tried previous versions. I can get to the Project selection window if I enter Debugger, and select/make a project, but then when the composer comes up it crashes again. The error is: Assertion failed: m_Context File: /Snapshots/relengmini4_1545861879/coresw/core/src/viewer/OGL/OGLContextMac.mm, Line: 319 Anyone

Anyone else having RED problems? I'm running MediaComposer 2018.12, using latest RED AMA plugin ( v 1.19.21.10112 Mac ). I'm connected via a Facillis Terrablock with Fibre running 500+MB/sec. The footage is UHD-sized, my sequence is HD 23.98. It takes a moment to play, then it stops. I tried to see if transcode would work, but it gives me an

I ALWAYS work with the source frame rates -- that way I can modify the rate interpolation if there are any issues in the sequence. You may need the Symphony version to enable the better features. Like Kevin said, optimize how they look in your 23.98 sequence. [quote user="cnmquestions"]Will there be duplicate frames? Or blended frames? [/quote

+1 on the FrameFlex effect save!
