Does it cost anything? I only ask because this is the first time we've been WITHOUT Avid assurance, so I've never had to pay for upgrades (in the past 3 years that is). I've already downloaded the full package from esd.avid.com. I just want to make sure.

I found the exact cause of this problem (for me that is). If I use a Head or Tail fade shortcut, when i try to open that sequence again it gives me the duplication message. But if I use the TAB shortcut to create the same fade, it won't come up. I really wish someone would figure this out. I'm drowning in duplicated sequences and it's becoming
