I have MC6 on a Mac Pro 8 core with 6GB ram and a Black Magic Multibridge Eclipse. When I dragged a 10 minute pro res file into my bin it told me about 30 minutes to import. When I linked via AMA and transcoded to DNxHD 145 (which is my global Media Creatio setting) it took 8 minutes. Just curious as to why that is. -Dan

Never got any feedback. I just stuck it out with Soundbooth for the remainder of the project.

I already consolidated the little clips one by one, that's how I found the bad ones. Also, this is a tiny amount of data (no more that 400GB) and it's going to a 2TB Graid. When I get back on the system later today I'm going to try consolidating to a unity volume to see if this is a drive problem or a clip problem.

Nope. The drive is formatted HFS+ and the largest file is 113 MB.

I get this error while consolidating HDV master clips from the bin. It's going from my external VideoRAID SR to a GRAID connected via ESATA (though the problem existed while connected via FW400 also). Some notes- This only happens with the long clips in the bin. I was given a drive with lots of clips that need to be imported. I estimate this will take about 4 to 6 hours to import so I want to let it run overnight. The problem is the clips are all located in various subfolders so I can't just drag and drop all of them into a bin and go home for the night. Does anyone have a workaround for this?

I'm looking for a good RTAS Denoise/declick and I was wondering if anyone has used Izotope RX as an RTAS plugin with avid. I've used it in pro tools and loved it so I'd like to take advantage of it on my Symphony projects rather then export, run through Soundbooth, then re-import. Thanks! -Dan

Hey friends, anyone figure this out? I've hit the same problam as Bonang on my Symphony 5.0.3.

We have some XDCAM 50mb MXF files that were created on our Digital Rapids Stream HD from HDCAM SR tapes. I'm using the "Link to AMA file" command. The linking process works fine, but when I double click the clip to load it into the source monitor it hangs for about 3 minutes then throws the error. This console message is fairly self-explanitory
