Upgraded at home to 6.0.4, issue persists. I should add that I am on Macs both here and at the office.

Thanks for the reply Kev. I requested an update to 6.0.4 a couple weeks ago & I think I'm finally getting my wish today. So I'll see tomorrow when I get back in the room. Though I believe I have had the same issue on 6.0.4 at home. But it's posssible I'm still on 6.0.3 there.

If you upgraded your OS, you should reinstall Avid. Uninstall, restart computer, install. Also, Symphony 6.0.3 is not officially compatible with 10.8.4. • Color tab retains previous clip's settings

When I switch into a tab by using the mappable tab buttons, the setings that are shown are the settings from the last time I was in that tab, NOT the settings for the current clip. It updates properly if I click into the tab wth the mouse. Ditto when using the Artist Color. If I adjust, say, the Saturation knob while in the Hue Offsets tab, it will

  • Re: Color Correction Tool "reset" buttons/Avid Artist Color feature request

[quote user="Strypes"] This is pertaining to the general function of the reset buttons on the Avid Artist Color and MC/Symph. For most, if not all of the other color correction machines, the two buttons above each trackball represent "reset trackwheel" and "reset trackball". This is the universal functioning language for
  • Re: Copying and Pasting Timecode

Yes, this would be a nice feature to have. As a workaround, this isn't super graceful because it requires marking and then clearing the mark, but you can use a macro program to do the following to copy the current sequence TC: 1 - Mark In 2 - Activate Composer window (Cmd+4) 3 - Open Get Info window (Cmd+i) 4 - Select Mark IN TC (Shift+Tab) 5 -
  • Re: Copying and Pasting Timecode

Brian, are you saying that if you hit Ctrl twice to bring up the timecode entry box, and then paste, it doesn't paste the timecode you copied? On a mac, when I copy a timecode from a text document, I can paste it into the timecode box wihthout issue. Are you PC based?
  • Re: Waveforms won't display above A13

Sorry, I stupidly hadn't tried using someone else's settings. Something is either corrupt in mine or there is a setting somewhere that I don't know about. I'll probably just recreate my settings, but I still would like to know what happened. So, in case you happen to still be curious too, I've attached two screenshots. In the first

  • Re: Waveforms won't display above A13

I've tried crushing all tracks below 13 to minimum size and expanding 13 and higher to be very large. No difference. I should also note that they display with a very thin black line. It's not like they aren't displaying at all. It's like they're displaying but Avid thinks they're silent. They do play, though. I've also tried

  • Waveforms won't display above A13

Running MC 5.0.3. - XP on an xw8400. Waveforms display normally on A1 through A12. But anything above A13 does not show. Same behavior when turning on all waveforms from the hamburger menu or turning on individual track waveforms in track controls. If I move clips from A13 to A12, waveforms show fine. Rearranging tracks by Ctrl+dragging them doesn't
