I think you are right mate. The white noise clip frames suggest that - thing is they are just read only animations and the AS11 is long delivered. What changed? Linking again works and it plays the 'new' same clip but not the old one - same exact source clip. Another tip for others is mark a clip and press ALT 6 'play in to out' - this

It will play any track except V1 - not even the bars on V1. It will play the same bars in other episodes and the same media from same camera cards and linked AVC100 animations! Baffled -just cant acces my Ep1 at all now. Any ideas? Thx

No one else if linking say 4 camera cards from separate folders? Would need another 2 users to report a bug...

On new version Avid and when I link to camera media using source browser it seems to alway put EVERYTHING in one bin called CLIP. Very annoying indeed. Who doesnt it create one bin per folder with the same name as folder, as was the norm in all previous 'old' versions? Create bin based on folder is the ingest setting used... Cheers.

Mine seems to have sorted itself out. Or maybe it's post handover projects and am working on projects created on the new system now?

That would be awsome Philip as its really getting me down - trying to float all windows now but still always have to move bins so as I can see the effect pallete relectade to the background every time I use my effect worlspace etc. Clearly I'm thick but it is utterly unintuitive and has hidden cryptic bin settings I keep fiddling with to try. I

Pat - as you are the only one engaging here (and its much appreciated) I chanced upon the below in the Interface settings. There are new menu items and may be the answer to getting it back as it was with each project simply loading the last view for that project - rather than something chaotic and irrelevant from another project:

Glad you reported I still get many issues with inconsistent keyframe functions - Frameflex ones are a nightmare in multicam and UHD having now moved to new version Avid.

Forever, when I want to check what happens next on a clip end I hit my double roller trim mode on the cut, click the source window and hit play. This then yellow roller plays on the A side of the clip without overwriting the next incoming clip. Its a great way to view what comes next in the outgoing clip. It just doesnt work since going to the latest
