    As far as I know (and I could be wrong), FCP doesn't allow multi-timeocode management in the same sequence, and that's why adjusting TC master to the desired frame rate is separate from the project frame rate.

    Try setting the Master TC on your sequence to 24. Otherwise center duration won't count as 24. -Matt

    I haven't tested this, but you could try the following recipe: Autosync your clips. Export the subclips as QT Ref. Import the Qt Ref. Consolidate the imported clips to make them permanent master clips. To maintain the metadata of the original subclips, you could export an ALE file from them and then merge it back into the new masterclips to bring
