Sorry they shouldn't throw good money after bad, IMHO. The old TT was barely usable except for the most basic tasks. Us in the indutrial/corporate market need a robust title tool. I've often compared what we do sometimes to expensive Power Point. The old TT may be good for FPO and like I said the most basic tasks, but it's just not an option

I gave up on TP but you should be able open via the avid effects editor. You could check the manual but they're too lazy to write one. There's a lotta "gotchas" so good luck figuring it out and making it work.

Inscriber used to work with AVX1 but GVG didn't port to avx2 so it died. But yes indeed back in 1997 we chose discreet edit based on the character generator, which was sorly lacking in avid and still is today. TP is a mess and ditto for T+.
