I love Squeeze and continue to use it with the 11.1 release. I like the UI very much as its grown. Wasn't it an off-shoot of Cleaner*? I've had to set-up some machines latety and it works fine. I've been learning Premiere due to client pressures and every day I miss MC more and more. It just seems "tighter" and I never thought I'd admit this --- I like how MC forces footage to conform to the timelne on the input side and not dealing with it later. I can't get my head around how Premiere handles codecs as a timeline change

I just went through the same thing debating on video cards, you should be fine on the 2070S vs 2080S. Avid likes CPUs, Resolve likes GPUs. I just bought a refurb z840, 3 year warranty. Their web site lets you build the system to your liking. I ended buying a new Nvidia RTX2060 Super video card and putting that in here. TekSavers, Inc. in Texas. Jose was very helpful.

Have you called Boris? Neil and the rest are super helpful and willing to walk you through anything, regardless of your contract status. I have BCC for Avid and just got the cross-grade to AE for my Avid BCC licence for a good price, which was awesome for us Boris users wanting to apply Boris knowledge to AE and Premiere.
