In this case the audio is not a big issue because I really only need the visuals for a tutorial series, but it is good to know what the solution is if I do need to use the audio later on. Can anyone recommend a solution for converting 24fs footage for use inside a 1080p/25 project? I find that the default conversion that MC does when I import the clip is not very smooth. After Effects seems to do a better job, but it is quite a lenghty round trip with a lot of footage. Using MC 2021.12

Thanks for your reply. Yep, agreed on HEVC. The camera and format choice wasn't mine, I just received the footage to work with. I contacted Avid support this morning and they too pointed me to the plugins. Fortunately Adobe Media Encoder seems to fly through these files quicker than After Effects did. So at least I'll be importing DNx into Media

I need to import media shot with a Panasonic AG-CX10. The files are .MOV, 4K HEVC at 50fps. Media Composer 2020.10 will not allow me to link to them through the source browser, offering Import only. When imported the audio is fine but the video gives the green screen typical of unrecognized codec issues. After Effects does recognize the files and will
