• Re: Avid TV - Narrator speaks too much US ....
Bernd, do you like this one better ? Link
YES, much better to follow !! No problem at all. So it is so simple ....... ? I was out for a week, so couldn't react earlier. Douglass' tutorials are good on the speed-aspect but - with all respect - a little boring to listen to when it it over say 10 minutes

  • Avid TV - Narrator speaks too much US ....

Hi, The tips and tricks you can learn during the trial period (in this case of MC 5.5) are available on Avid-TV. Unfortunately the narrator speaks in a very fast US version of the English language, hardly understandable for me. Isn't it possible to have a narrator who speaks - slower - "Oxford" English so that non-native people can follow
I would advise looking at the motherboard manufacturer's web site and seeing what memory they recommend - I know ASUS has detailed lists of vendors and model numbers of recommended memory to ensure maximum compatibility.
Indeed, very true. I once bought memory which was not listed. It never worked stable so
Thank you for the prompt response. I do have Sonic and I tried using it but it doesn’t recognize the AVCHD Video (.m2f) file. Every time I open Sonic and brows to my desktop where I saved the AVCHD file, it doesn’t see it. Again, the AVCHD file is about 21 GB in size.
Hi, I have never seen

Hi, For burining a DVD or BR you need to use a special program. AVID DVD by Sonic is such a program which is part of the MC suite, but you can also use Avid Studio. Just burning a file gives you a data disc which will not run in a player. Bernd

  • Re: Any experience with new mobo Asus P8Z68-V Pro?

Hi, I will visit IBC tomorrow. Visit salland.eu for the lowest prices in NL. I always buy there. Due to all the negative stories about the Sandforce based SSD's I bought the Crucial M4. Bernd

Hi, I have never had such a stable pc as this one. I works fast and reliable for me. I am not a prof and don't use all the ins and outs of MC but the simple cut and paste and adding transitions etc is working 100%. I also use this pc for other things like office tools: no time for coffee anymore as everything reacts instantly. For me no other pc

  • Re: de activation dongle

Isn't it a good idea to put a thread on top of the forum page, under Announcements and FAQ's, which describes what to do in case of activation issues? Bernd
