disabling phrasefind will turn it off for all drives, There is an article on how to turn ir off here: https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/How_To/stop-PhraseFind-Bin-Indexing?retURL=%2Fpkb%2Fapex%2FKB_Render_Download%3Fid%3DkA240000000KzTX%26lang%3Dja_1_1_1&popup=true I don't know of any other way to disable phrasefind for some drives

AvidFX no longer imports files (I tested this), but Boris RED for Avid still functions. I just tested this on the current version of MC and it works normally. I have several older projects that are using Boris RED and these still work normally as well.

when you created the project, what frame rate did you choose?

If it were up to me (and it isn't), I'd recompile Marquee as a 64-bit application and then export that out to both the PC and Mac versions of Media Composer.
