I had this problem in MC 2.X before when I had Slingplayer running in the background. Strange but true.

NTSC 30i. Source Material is DV. I think my Project file may have been corrupted. Original project was created/captured on Avid Xpress Pro 4.6 I created a new project on Media Composer and opened the bin and exported fine.

Avid Media Composer 2.8.1 Quictime 7.3.1 Avid Codes PE 1.6 NVIDIA 91.85 Whenever I export a sequence (NTSC 29.97i) as quicktime reference the field order is reversed.

Alot of peope use SVHS decks with built in TBC (Timebase Corrector) this helps when capturing old vhs tapes of poor quality. I personally use a Panasonic AG-7650 SVHS playback deck. Is this a bug or a feature? Avid Media Composer 2.5.3 Whenever I create a group clip from two seperate clips (subclips) the locators from the subclips are not put into the grouped clip. This is not a preffered behaviour. Is there an option I am missing somewhere. Was this fixed in a newer version? John

Those number don't seem completely out of order. First off you are dealing approx 6 times more data to begin with (SD vs HD), secondly I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) DNXHD is more processor intensive to decode as compared to DV. And lastly H.264 encoding is alot slowed than MPEG2. This problem is only magnified by the higher HD resolution. Also
