Depends on how old the dongle is. Sometimes you literally have to run the updater just to make it new enough in order to present you with the converer link.

For MC5, the desing team needed to kill a lot of the old-school skeuomorphic designs in order to get the interface to behave snappier. Color coding of the interface skinning went away. Hello, Hmmm... Nothing was changed to the core functionality of the Media Composer app when it comes to identifying clips. I go back and forth in projects between MC7 and MC2021.12, and see no issues. Are you also using any external I/O box like an AJA or an Avid DNxIV or whatever? Because that would mean there is firmware which could now be mismatched

Hi, If upon installation you also told the installer to add the "Enterprise scripts", then what is asking you is to enter the hostname for the Avid Nexis hardware. If you don't work in a shared storage environment that has an Avid Nexis, then simply ignore this step. No issues will arise by skipping it. CB
