Hello, The 16 GB of ram is the bare minimum that is qualified to run the app. Newer versions of Media Composer usually hover around 12-13 GB, and that's with transcoded DNxHD media palying in the sequence. If you're requiring additional headroom, such as trying to play with AMA-Linked media in the timeline, then it will require more RAM.
