Have you tried tojust link AMA, then transcode the footage to DnxHD versus importing? Are you using a hacked gh2? I have a hacked GH2 and I use 2 methods: 1. convert to cineform, then link AMA and transcode (or work with the cineform codec) 2 link AMA, then transcode to DNxHD It may not be a quick workflow, but it'll remove headaches trying to importing

Check my specs, I'm using a 8400 with no issue, I even have the latest NVIDIA driver 296.70 with no issue too. Although, I'm software only and using no hardrware like the matrox mini, and I'm using a Dual Quad Core CPU with plenty of ram. Salud

You hit it on the nose - thnak you! Yeah, the waveform was way above 235. Once I putting a safe color limiter limiter on it, then exported, I can work in 16bpc. Now, I gotta fogure out whayt I can do in After effects, since I don't want to put safe color limiters on all my footage. Salud

Hello all, In After effects, I put my color space in 16bpc and the clipped highlights show pink/purple pixels . i thought they were just warning, but when I render them out, they show up still. They don't show in 8 bpc. i tried other projects I have, but with the same result. Also, it only happens with DnxHD codecs (36-175 10bit), renders out same

Hey, the only 3 work arounds I can recommend are: 1.) TMPGENC encode to DNxHD, then fast import into Avid; 2.) Use Sorenson Squeeze 7 or 8 to export to DNxHD, then fast import into Avid; 3.) Use Cineform (GoPro) Neoscene to export to Cineform Codec, Link Cineform AMA, then transcode to DNxHD. I know those aren't what you where looking for, but if
