I guess in a quick nutshell: if you use GPU-Z and have a quadro 4000, are you seeing your Clock speeds maxed when Media composer is running? Do they lower at idle 9not editing or any plaback) or stay maxed? The only reason I ask, is when the clock speeds are maxed and stay there, the temperatures jump from 40-50 degrees celcius to 75-85 degrees celcius

Matrox Mini Driver 7.1.0.1294 work pretty darn well with MC 6.03 and 6.5. I know that might help you since you are using 5.5, but if wanted to upgrade, well then I hope this helps. Salud

Yeah, maybe ping Marianna. Sonic/Roxio activation has always been finicky. Hope you get it resolved, man. Salud

Yeah, I know my xw8400 is a bit past her prime - but she's still solid as a rock and working great with MC 6.03.2. I'm using a MXO2 mini and, to my surprise, it's working great with my setup. My question is - which slot did any xw8400 owners use for the MXO2 mini? I'm using slot 4, but I keep reading to use slot 3 - any thoughts? salud

MXO2 mini unified driver 7.1.0.1294 on Media Composer 6.03.2 is pretty rock solid over here. No issues thus far and with color correction.
