Nope, it's a 32 bit application that can run in Vista 64-bit arena, that way you can take advantage of having more RAM; unlike the the 32 bot XP and Vista OS, which has RAM limitations. Salud!

No hiccups with capturing, full-screen playing through my old AGP 7800gs; 3rd Party plugins work (I can even use GPU option for Magic Bullet) and MC 3.0 response times are Killer! Salud!

True, I have upgraded during mid-project -because I'm completely ansy- without problems but I would say the rule of thumb is "insurance for assurance." You never know what plugins, or system drivers may not work, and if you have a 30 minute project full of Third party plugins that worked before, but may hiccup now, well, I feel the caveat
