I have it installed in Win 7 ultimate without issue (aside from a few bugs with Resolve) - works great!

Or, if you really want to use your unqualified driver, you can search for the text file "QualifiedGpuBoards.txt" and edit it and add: NVIDIA Corporation--Quadro 5000/PCI/SSE2 : NVIDIA : 5000 : 347.88 save and fir e up Avid MC. You won't get that message any more.

I have the Quadro k4000 in my z800. It's faster, less power adm less heat than the Quadro 4000 - worth the price! Check ebay for some good prices.

My Matrox mini only works with MC 8.3.1 at half resolution. Once I click full resolution or 10-bit on the TV icon, it crashes the Matrox mini too. the Matrox driver 772 are for MC 8.3 and below not for MC 8.3.1. We'll have to wait until matrox releases another driver for MC 8.3.1. If you don't need any of the the 8.3.1 updated, then revert back

UPDATE: I think I know what's going on. If the problem persists, I'll let everyone know.

I have received the "License renewal failure" again after month of purchase. This happened before in December and I had to but another subscription. Avid 8.3 just wont renew after 1 month for me. It says activation server could not be reached. I've already contacted Avid, but 2 times in a row now? And I had to but another subscription

Sorry for your troubles. but all I can say is that Matrox drivers are not supported for MC 8.3. Matrox is working on drivers that will support 8.3, but nothing immediately. Here's their announcement from last month: http://forum.matrox.com/mxo/viewtopic.php?t=13977

Thanks for helping. I tried that, and I still ge the same error. Marianna reset it for me, but it's still not working; so I'll just wait until the Avid team finds the solution. At least they gave me another 30 days in trial mode.
