yes, Todd - I'm hitting the pause at a desired cut point. also, I three finger JKL - pause also yields latency. not seeing any other latency that's noteworthy - pretty darn good. thx gentlemen

have to say, I'm pretty impressed with my initial impressions of v2.5.2 / SDI .... there's some latency stopping play - it could add up in a large edit....

I was thinking passive unit, in the $200 range - similar to a Kona BOB. A Mojo patch access locatable in a rack....

I like Mojo outboard - generates a good amount of heat, plus I can use all the extra PCIe slots possible... Like to see a one-space rack unit that connects to Mojo SDI (2 x DVI cables) sporting XLR & BNC connectors. Better than the ole'-reach-around patch dance...

Eatapc, I saved my LVDs from former systems, scored an Atto UL4D & was off to the races adding XPro/Mojo -- replacing XPro with MC/SDI should be relatively transparent. No matter what I've said here over the years, have used FCP since the 1st version simply to protect myself & will continue to do so. "BTW, between the M3's nasty engine noise

That $5k buys more than Animatte - I don't know, MC just feels like home for me. I look at SDI Mojo as an equalivent to a Kona: similar cost/investment. That all said, I do use FCP Suite.... But I look at FCP as the house Avid built.... I don't feel badly for the smaller shops that invested in XPro or Xpress - it was a very reasonable bridge to this
